The Vitamix was not in my budget, but I really needed a new blender. We are a smoothie making family, so this had to be a great machine.

This thing does it all!! Slices, dices, shreds, mixes doughs and makes cocktails. Oh yeah- and makes our smoothies really quick, easy, and clean up was a breeze. Used the single serving smoothie cup this morning-changed the lid and voila it becomes a to go cup. No mess at all!! Plus it has 2 of these cups, so no need to rush to wash. Just put in dishwasher. Having more people? Use the blender to make the smoothie. I'm in love. :)

Tonight I made brownies using the food processor part of it and it came out great. I love that there aren't a lot of buttons. It's just a one touch pulse that you can hold down as long as necessary. It is very easy to use and clean.

I feel like I've gotten a great deal for the money. Can't say enough good things about it. Plus the price was impossible to beat.
