I bought this washer to extract herbs and it is fantastic! Very easy to use and the results speak for themselves!

The box includes a 200 micron bag for your "clothes", the washer and a drain tube. There is a timer on the washer with 3, 6, 9 and 12 minute settings. You will also need extraction bags which are easy enough to find on Amazon. Look for a five pack that includes a 200 micron all the way down to a 20 micron size.

Before you begin you will need a 5 gallon bucket that is very clean. Take the 5 bags you bought separately and place them in the bucket over the top lip starting with the smallest bag (20 micron) up to the largest bag. After you have your bucket prepared, simply fill the included 200 micron bag with your herbs and place it in the washer. Cover the bag with ice and then fill the washer with enough water to make the ice float. Turn on the washer for 6 minutes and let it cycle your "laundry". After the washer stops pull the bag out of the water and squish it a few times to get the good stuff out. Drop it back in the washer and repeat the cycle at least 3 more times. (4 cycles of 6 minutes each).

After you have washed it and your water is soupy, drop the drain tube into your bucket and fill it up with the water from the washer. Next you pull the bags out one at a time, drain them, and set them aside to dry. There probably will not be much in the 200 micron bag beside clippings but when you get to the smaller sized bags you will see the fruit of your labor. The smaller sized bags will probably require agitation to get the water out. This can be a slow process so I recommend hanging the bag and agitating it with a small power tool.

After you have drained all the water from the bags scrape the herbs out and set them aside to dry. While they are drying I recommend you chop them up with a razor blade to dry faster. You can always press them later.

A few things to note. The 200 micron bag that is included is prone to opening up in the washer and spilling material into your water so I recommend tying it shut with the included tie and ALSO using a zip tie around the top part of the bag to avoid the first tie coming undone. I also recommend doing this in a kitchen or somewhere with a tile floor as you will probably make a mess the first time. This is not a fault of the product, just the process.

So far I have used this washer about 4 times and it has worked like a champ every time. I highly recommend checking it out.
