It will hold a TON of mail. Having a place to hang my "weird" keys (laundry, mail etc) is nice so they don't get lost sitting on a counter or something. I think that 4 holes to hold it to the wall is a little excessive, but maybe if you have a lot of mail ? . . . It won't hold an 8.5" x 11" sheet of paper lengthwise. If that's what you want it for, don't buy this.
