I stuck my black wool jacket in the dryer for a test. The test being the coat covered in lint, dog hair and cat hair. After about 15 mins. in the dryer w/dryer maid ball - out came my jacket looking like the day I bought it. Buying them for all my family members. This review is from: Home Smart Dryer Maid Ball (Kitchen) I went on a desperate search for something to help with the cat hair on my bedding- while ironing I have to lint roll every single foot of my queen sized sheets and duvet cover thanks to one black cat and one orange and white cat- both of whom shed. A lot.I was worried about the smell but it had only a super-faint rubber smell when it arrived- I've kept it in the dryer since then and it hasn't started smelling at all. I do find cat hair on it, though not a lot, but there is a definitely noticeable difference in how much cat hair is in the lint trap (which is what it is described to do). It's extremely noticeable on all of my dark clothes- I could actually see all of the white cat hair in the bottom part of the lint trap contrasted against all of the dark gray lint that coated the rest of that. I have NEVER had that happen before, and when I emptied it it was at least a solid palm-ful of cat hair. It really does work! All of that, coupled with the fact that I had to wait almost two months for the product really left me very disappointed. |
