Anyone who has ever had a poodle knows that it takes quite a bit of time to get them completely dry. I can't say much for my grooming abilities..they suck.. but my poodle doesn't seem to know that he is pretty gapped up. Hopefully that will improve. The sound is average, not too loud, and not high pitched, but not what I would call quiet. It is not too loud to scare the Dog, and mine doesn't like loud noises. Two Speeds and two heat settings. Hi/low with Warm and cool. Moves a fair amount of air. Not the fastest dog dryer, but has all the bang for the buck!To get a faster dog dryer you will need to spend more $ $ or move up to something with more damaging heat and is much louder. This is a great compromise between price and speed. Took about 40 minutes to dry a medium sized 35lb Black Chow-Chow mix with thick undercoat, so not too bad for a 4 legged hair-ball! The dryer stand is useless for anything other than a professional grooming table! |
