This review is from: Hefty Blackout Gripper Tall Kitchen, 13-Gallon, 40-Count (Health and Beauty) They work. They hold trash. Don't be fooled by the "BlackOut" marketing gimmick, though. They are just black trash bags like most are. I took one star off because the bag rips a little more easily than I would like, particularly around the draw strings. They are so poorly made that when you try open the bag to put it in the can the top containing the drawstring pulls away from the bag. If you do manage to get it in the trash can in one piece it rips to shreds when you pull it out. I've never had a problem with the white gripper bags. I don't know what they did differently but it is worthless. All the stores local to me have stopped carrying these. I admit I do not understand the marketing of needing a black out garbage bag. The color is irrevelant; I just like that they do not fall down inside the garbage can every time you throw something away.
