Cap washer prepares billed hats for a good bath in the dishwasher! Renew cherished baseball and golf hats that are full of sweat stains or other blemishes. Just place a cap in the plastic frame snap it shut and insert on the top shelf ofa dishwasher. Add soap or detergent for one wash cycle and the cap comes out fresh and ready for action without being wrinkled or out of shape. Also great forvisors or even wool caps. Plastic 13 x 8 1/2 x 4 3/4'.

This review is from: Cap Washer (Health and Beauty) The directions I read stated that it could also be used in the washing machine so I figured why not give it a try. The first time I used this, it worked well. The 2nd time I used it, it completely broke in the washing machine leaving me with pieces of plastic to pick out. I imagine it would work much better in a dishwasher (which we don't have). Good idea, just not compatible with our washing machine. I didn't realize that this would wash hats in the dishwasher (yes, that's what they recommend) but it works great. Be sure to let the hat dry in the shaper and then re-shape the bill. Nice clean hats.
