It's easy to put together. Sturdier than expected. However, I would not recommend every day use because screws can strip easily. I purchased this for every day use for my children at the dinner table. Three people could fit on it. I would not recommend. Just giving you idea of size. After one week of every day use one leg began to wobble. I noticed that the screw was stripped. The seller was quick with responding. They are sending a replacement leg. I still would recommend this bench. It's more decorative than to be used daily. This review is from: Shaker Bench in Oak (Kitchen) These benches are solid and they look great. I have to say one of my kids flipped off it and hurt himself, but to be honest he was perched on his feet on the bench and tried to pull it across a tile floor. It's a good bench, possibly not the best for frequent use with kids at the dining room table with a tile floor, but maybe your kids aren't such acrobats. One bench arrived with a broken joist that made it very wobbly; after contact with the company an entire new bench was promptly sent out. Very satisfied.
