This review is from: Frigidaire Washer Door Catch 131279001 I've had to replace this part twice on our 13 yr old washing machine. Considering how little it costs, and how easy it is to install, it does not bother me too much when it breaks. Thank goodness for expedited shipping. The signs are pretty clear - you try to turn on your washer and no lights come on, no sound, no running water, nothing. The damage to this part may be easy to miss on an inspection, but alll it takes is for one or both of the little arms to break off and voila, a nonfunctional clothes washer. 20 minutes maximum to remove and replace. Need to use a screw driver. How easy is that?
