This review is from: Whirlpool 8171378RC 6-Foot 30 Amp 3 Wire Dryer Cord (Tools & Home Improvement) After purchasing a new washer and dryer it was time to replace hoses and cords. Since my laundry room was small and it was going to be a tight fit I wanted to get a longer dryer cord that would allow me to pull the dryer out a bit farther and clean/work behind it. Of course, I also got a longer vent. This cord was the perfect length, plenty of slack to pull the dryer out without stretching or stressing it. Please pay careful attention to the cord you by, I noticed many on Amazon that were not UL listed. This particular cord is UL listed. Highly recommended. My condo's outlet for the dryer cord was positioned too low to the ground for the factory installed cord to reach. I went to two home improvement stores and neither carried a cord longer than the standard 4 foot cord. I was very glad I found one on Amazon, reasonably priced. It has allowed me to stack the units and open up some very needed floor space in my laundry room. It also arrived very quickly. I recommend it for anyone else in the same predicament with stackable laundry units.
